BERLIN & SAN FRANCISCO--July 31, 2013: Following the tremendous success in Chicago and the launches in New York City and Washington D.C. earlier this week, Blacklane is now setting off in San Francisco. The company offers a new alternative in everyday transportation needs, offering airport transfers, transportation to and from meetings and important client appointments.

“Local providers welcome us wherever we show up, knowing that we'll add to their revenue instead of diminishing it.”

"We go where our customers go," explains Dr. Jens Wohltorf, co-founder of Blacklane, adding, "We are on the way to becoming their number one international companion for their entire journey." Given that the United States is a major destination for travelers from all over the world, expanding the limousine and chauffeur service in the States' biggest and most important cities was only a matter of time. "Not a week passes without customers encouraging us to reach out to their frequent destinations, and we are aiming to become available in even more cities in the States," Wohltorf says.

San Francisco is California's financial center and home to its second largest airport. It attracts thousands of business travelers and tourists alike looking for an inexpensive and comfortable way to get to their meetings or hotels. "Business travelers make up an important share of our customers, but tourists aren't far behind," says Steuer, adding, "This proves our point -- comfort, reliability and fair prices work for everybody."

Having received overwhelmingly positive feedback wherever it launches, the company is firmly establishing itself as one of the leading international players in the limousine service industry. "Local providers welcome us wherever we show up, knowing that we'll add to their revenue instead of diminishing it."

Bookings can be made around the clock, online, or with the company's smartphone app. After specifying their pick-up location and booking period or desired destination, customers can choose from one of three classes of vehicles (Business Class, Business Van/SUV, First Class) at a binding fixed price including all taxes and fees. Cars can be booked up to fifteen minutes before the customer's required pick-up time.

After booking, customers receive a confirmation of their order as well as their chauffeur's contact details. Payments can be made by credit card, while companies can chose to be billed on a monthly basis. All of a customer's invoices can easily be downloaded from their MyBlacklane account.

Blacklane limousines can now be booked on the website Blacklane in multiple countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S.
