Coveted Infield Spaces Also Available For Purchase

HAMPTON, Ga. (July 10, 2013) – Atlanta Motor Speedway is encouraging fans to take advantage of a very limited number of reserved camping spaces and secure their camp sites for the AdvoCare 500 weekend Aug. 30- Sept. 1.

Spaces are still available in several campgrounds on Speedway property for Labor Day Weekend for RV, tent and pop-up units, including a small quantity of spots in the Speedway’s infield. Fans are encouraged to act fast and reserve their camping spots now and take advantage of the opportunity to experience a weekend of NASCAR night racing on one of racing’s most exciting tracks.

“The infield is one of the most coveted camping spots on race weekend. This is an incredible chance for fans to be part of the biggest Labor Day Party in the USA from a camping spot in the midst of the infield,” said Atlanta Motor Speedway President and General Manager Ed Clark. “One thing we hear from fans all the time is how much of a sense of community there is between them and their fellow campers. If you have never experienced race weekend here from the campground, now is a great time to do so!”

Trackside RV spaces are also available for race weekend. These spaces, which overlook the Speedway from either turn one or the backstretch, are the only currently available spaces on track property during race weekend offering complete water, electrical and sewer hook-ups. Spaces come with ten admission tickets and pre-race pit passes for each day of racing.

Reserved camping spaces outside the Speedway start as low as $100. Fans camping outside the Speedway are reminded that a minimum of two AdvoCare 500 grandstand tickets are required to set up a camping spot upon arrival.
