The 100 Club of Arizona and Yarnell Community Center to Receive Shared Donation

NEW YORK--July 10, 2013: Toyota today announced a $50,000 donation, to be divided between the 100 Club of Arizona and the Yarnell (Ariz.) Community Center, to aid and support families of the 19 firefighters who lost their lives and the families who lost their homes in the recent Arizona fire.

"On behalf of Toyota, we express our sincere condolences to the families that have lost loved ones and homes in this tragic event," said Latondra Newton, group vice president, national philanthropy and the Toyota USA Foundation. "Our thoughts go out to everyone in the community."

Toyota has operations and offices near the affected areas, with the Toyota Arizona Proving Ground (TAPG), Toyota's largest vehicle evaluation investment in the United States, being located in Wittmann and Toyota Financial Services customer and dealer service centers near Phoenix.

Since 2001, Toyota and its North American employees have donated nearly $15 million in charitable funds and vehicles, as well as the skill-based volunteerism of Toyota's employees to support disaster relief efforts across the United States.
