LOS ANGELES--June 18, 2013: The Los Angeles Auto Show announced today that it has selected Julian Lile as its new Director of Sponsorships, to support the growing number of potential partners looking to increase exposure and consumer awareness through the show.

In his new role, Lile will identify new opportunities for existing and potential partners, establish relationships with community leaders and develop new initiatives for connecting the automotive industry, while also fueling car sales and connecting manufacturers with consumers. Lile's connections and extensive experience outside of the automotive industry will help continue to showcase the LA Auto Show's capabilities as an innovative corporate partner.

"As the LA Auto Show continues to grow, we knew it was important to have a person who could find, nurture and ensure the satisfaction of our many partners. Julian is that person," said Terri Toennies, General Manager of the LA Auto Show. "With a notable background in sales and promotions and focused experience in building and maintaining sponsor relationships, Julian is the perfect professional for the job."

Previously, Lile handled venue membership sales and sponsorship procurement for companies such as Live Nation and AEG, both well-known Los Angeles-based corporations.

"I am eager to leverage my industry relationships to help increase the impact of such a well-known and respected event," said Julian Lile.  "I'm absolutely thrilled to be working with the LA Auto Show, a staple in the car-culture capital of the world."

The Los Angeles Auto Show was founded in 1907 and is the first major North American auto show of the season each year.  Press days for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show will be held on Nov. 20 and 21. The show will be open to the public Nov. 22 -- Dec. 1. The Connected Car Expo (CCE) is designed to be the automotive industry's most comprehensive showcase of new mobility solutions and will debut on November 19, and continue in conjunction with the 2013 LA Auto Show press days.  The LA Auto Show is endorsed by the Greater L.A. New Car Dealer Association and is operated by ANSA Productions.
