BMW Announces Record Sales for May

MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – June 5, 2013: BMW Group Australia today announced an all-time sales record for May, surpassing all targets across the group - BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad and BMW Genuine Parts.

Strong across-the-board growth is reflected by a notable 16% rise in sales from April 2013 to May 2013, whilst total year to date (YTD) sales have increased by 14.2% to 7,855 vehicles – the strongest May YTD sales ever.

BMW Australia achieved number one position in six segments and posted YTD sales records in another four segments, according to figures supplied by VFACTS for May 2013.

Phil Horton, President of BMW Group Australia, was pleased with the Group’s performance.
