TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – May 9, 2013: The all-new Honda CR-V is the number one selling petrol medium SUV in Australia YTD.

The CR-V, launched in late 2012, has sold 4,737 units for the first four months of 2013 and is proving to be the first choice for buyers in the growing segment.

“The CR-V has been a huge success with customers looking for an SUV with outstanding packaging, performance and value for money,” said Honda Australia Director Mr. Stephen Collins. “We have also just announced that the CR-V will feature a new variant to go on sale in June this year that will feature our Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) that we launched in our all-new Accord this week.

“We are confident the CR-V with ADAS will boost sales even further and ensure the CR-V remains at the top of medium SUV buyer’s shopping lists,” Mr. Collins said.

The Advanced Driver Assist System features state-of-the-art safety technology such as Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

ADAS is designed to complement the driver, not to replace their input. ADAS contributes to active safety, while ensuring that the driver remains in control of the vehicle at all times.
