SYDNEY – May 3, 2013: Nissan has carried its Australian sales form into its new financial year by recording another monthly record in April.

Based on provisional internal results, Nissan sold 5,114 units in April 2013, its highest sales result for that month as a full line importer. The result is 9.2 percent, or 431 units, stronger than April 2012.

Nissan’s calendar year-to-date sales are up 17 percent on the same time last year, providing solid momentum for the exciting year of new product launches ahead in 2013.

“Nissan is pleased to record another record sales result because it provides a solid foundation for the exciting times that lie ahead for our company and dealers,” said Nissan Motor Co (Australia) Managing Director and CEO William F Peffer Jr.

“After beginning 2013 with the launch of the all-new Pulsar sedan and Patrol, we now have the all-new Nissan Pulsar hatch, including the sporty SSS variant, and revitalised DUALIS range just around the corner.

“With all-new Pathfinder, Juke and Altima all coming to the Australian market in the fourth quarter of 2013, there is still a lot to come for Nissan.”
