Goodyear to Officially Open New Global Headquarters

AKRON, OH--April 30, 2013 -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Global Headquarters with representatives from the State of Ohio, the City of Akron and Summit County; local members of Congress; and officials of Industrial Realty Group.

Background:

Groundbreaking for the new Global Headquarters was held April 18, 2011. The Headquarters and adjacent Akron Innovation Center are home to about 3,000 associates.

Interviews with key participants and limited media tours of the new Global Headquarters will be available following the ceremony.

This event is not open to the public.

The event is planned to be held outdoors --an alternative indoor location will be used in the event of inclement weather.
