LONDON – April 24, 2013: Nissan’s UK sales and marketing operation is to undergo a restructuring following the retirement of Sales Director, Kevin Butler, at the end of April.

Butler, who has spent five enormously successful years in the role, will hand the baton to Jon Pollock, currently the company’s Corporate Sales Director.

In turn Pollock, who presently oversees the brand’s 30-strong Corporate Sales team, will be succeeded by current Fleet Sales Director, Barry Beeston.

By appointing internally, Nissan Motor GB will benefit from a seamless transition process and be perfectly positioned to build on its strongest-ever annual performance and ensure valuable corporate and fleet customers enjoy continuity of care.

Commenting on the restructuring, Nissan managing director, James Wright, said: “Kevin has been with Nissan for 21 years and has played a particularly crucial role in Nissan’s advancement over the last five years.

“He leaves us having been instrumental in helping us to a record market share of 5.2%, having sold 120,509 new vehicles in the last financial year.

“We thank him for the valuable contribution he has made to Nissan’s UK business over the years and wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.”

He added: “We are fortunate to have such great strength in depth within the team and both Jon and Barry will soon make their new roles their own.

“I’m sure our sales and corporate sales operations will continue to go from strength-to-strength under their leadership.”
