Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar Global Brand Director said: “The film project by Jaguar is part of the pre-launch activity for the new F-TYPE sports car and a genuine artistic project featuring world class talent. Our aim is to reach a new and diverse audience and create a relationship with Jaguar and our first sports car launch in 52 years.”

“Sundance London is the perfect setting for Jaguar to screen ‘Desire’ for the first time anywhere in the world. Our partnership with Sundance London presents us with the ideal platform to highlight Jaguar’s ambition to invest in innovative film projects of outstanding production quality.”

The festival makes for a unique opportunity to showcase Jaguar’s brand values, and we are looking forward to an exciting partnership.”

Jaguar has collaborated with Ridley Scott Associates to create the short feature film, ‘Desire’. Starring Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning actor Damian Lewis, the 12-minute film features the new F-TYPE sports car and was shot on location in South America. The film will screen to press accredited by Sundance London at 12.30pm on Wednesday 24 April, immediately following the Sundance London press conference at Cineworld, The O2. It will be made available for public viewing online. View the official trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhJbPffYziA.

Desire tells the story of “Clark” (Damian Lewis), who delivers cars for a living and runs into trouble after a chance encounter with a mysterious, young woman (Shannyn Sossamon) in the middle of the lawless desert. Directed by Adam Smith, the film is a story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed.

Ridley Scott Associate's Managing Director Kai-Lu Hsiung comments: “The Sundance Film Festival is one of the world’s leading and most respected film festivals, and Sundance London is a fitting place for us to launch the first short feature film that we have created with Jaguar. We really look forward to showing this to those who share our passion for film.”

Throughout Sundance London at The O2, festivalgoers will be able to experience a Jaguar F-TYPE vehicle display.
