Agero's New Hyundai App Simplifies Car Care for Owners of All Hyundai Models

DALLAS--April 15, 2013:  Hyundai vehicle owners now have a virtual, searchable resource to access car care information specific to their vehicle with the launch of a new mobile application, Hyundai Assurance Car Care, developed by connected vehicle service provider, Agero.

Agero Connected Services, a leading private-label provider of cloud-delivered content, services and driver interfaces for a variety of automotive brands, provides the strategy, design and back-end infrastructure for the delivery of Hyundai's Blue Link telematics services and enhanced roadside assistance service. Together, both programs comprise Hyundai's Assurance Connected Care (Hyundai Assurance ) program, designed to reinforce Hyundai's worry-free ownership experience.

The Assurance Car Care app, available on iOS and Android, enables Hyundai owners to quickly and easily tap into a broad range of information relating to all Hyundai models starting with the 2011 model year including:

  • Searchable quick reference guides, including quick access to Bluetooth information and "How To" videos;
  • Descriptions for in-vehicle warning light indicators;
  • Maintenance guides;
  • Warranty information;
  • Nearest or preferred Hyundai dealership locations;
  • Service appointment scheduling;
  • And additional Blue Link information for equipped vehicles.

The app also features direct-dial access to response specialists to subscribe to Blue Link service as well as to request roadside assistance should the Hyundai driver need help.
