Fiat Chrysler Group Confirms Best Quarter on Record

TURIN, ITALY – April 5, 2013: Fiat Chrysler Group (FCG) has today confirmed its commitment to growth, posting 2,313 sales for March, a 30.8 per cent increase on its March 2012 result of 1,768 units.

Sales for the quarter were 6,363 units, compared to 4,567 units in 2012, marking a gain of 39.3 per cent and FCG’s strongest ever quarter.

Ms. Veronica Johns, FCG’s Director of Sales, was pleased with the result.

“After ending 2012 with record sales, we’ve continued our strong sales momentum into 2013.”

“We are well on track for another record year, for all brands in our stable ” said Johns.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee was again the best performer for the quarter, with 2,830 units, up 83.6 per cent over the 1,768 sold in quarter one last year.

The Dodge Journey recorded strong sales gains with 419 units sold in the quarter, a 168.6 per cent increase on the 156 sold in the same quarter last year.
