EPSOM, UNITED KINGDOM – Marc 20, 2013: Lexus will be adding to the spectacle of the Goodwood Festival of Speed for the first time as a contributing manufacturer this year, taking the opportunity to celebrate the introduction of its all-new IS sports saloon in the UK.

The striking new IS range – which includes the first full hybrid IS model – will be one of the main attractions in Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show on the eve of the festival, 11 July. Visitors will be able to organise short test drives on the day, to be among the first in the country to take the wheel of the new Lexus, and to register interest with their local Lexus Centre.

Lexus will also be showing its new GS executive saloon and its LFA supercar, recently praised by Jeremy Clarkson as “the best car I’ve ever driven”.

The LFA has been a regular festival crowd pleaser in recent years, thanks to Gazoo Racing putting its Nürburgring 24 Hours race car through its paces up Goodwood’s hill course and the team will be back this year fresh from its 2013 campaign. Also expected to appear on the hill course is the new IS 300h in F Sport trim, demonstrating how Lexus has introduced its sporting spirit to its complete model range.
