Mercedes-Benz Bus & Coach Australia/Pacific Announces New Executive Appointment

MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – Marc 20, 2013: The Managing Director of Daimler Commercial Vehicles Australia/Pacific, Mr Kolja Rebstock has announced a new appointment to the executive team.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Justin Whitford to the position of General Manager, Mercedes-Benz Bus & Coach”, Rebstock commented. “Justin brings a wealth of industry experience to Mercedes-Benz following a three year international position with Sigma Coachair, a leading air conditioning engineering and manufacturing firm.

Justin has commenced his role within Mercedes-Benz and will take on responsibility for the coordination and management of Mercedes-Benz Bus & Coach Australia/Pacific.”

Whitford commented: “I’m very excited considering the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead with Mercedes-Benz, and I welcome the prospect of delivering premium products and services to our customers.

We need to better understand our customers and drive our resources towards the best service model achievable. I’ll be reviewing our short and long term objectives with the team to ensure that our business strategy is focused towards fulfilling the partnerships that we hold with our customers and their requirements. I see this as an opportunity to redefine the industry.

We would also like to incorporate the technology from European buses and coaches in our Australian products as standard, particularly in terms of technological enhancements to safety.”
