Infiniti Appoints Stefan Weinmann General Manager, Global Communications

HONG KONG – Marc 18,2013: Infiniti today announced that Stefan Weinmann has been named General Manager, Infiniti Global Communications, effective April 1st. As General Manager, Infiniti Global Communications, Weinmann will be responsible for leading Infiniti's Global Communications including Product, Internal and Corporate Communications.

In this newly created position, he will be based at Infiniti's Hong Kong Global Headquarters and will report directly to Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti Motor Company Ltd.

"We welcome Stefan to his new role at Infiniti and expect that his previous experiences will greatly benefit the alignment and performance of Infiniti’s communications globally,” said Johan de Nysschen, President, Infiniti Motor Company Ltd. “Stefan will play a key role in supporting the development of the Infiniti brand and reputation as we introduce ourselves to premium customers in new markets around the world."

Weinmann joins Infiniti Motor Company Ltd. from Adam Opel AG in Germany where most recently he was General Director, Internal and Alliance Communications with previous responsibility for Opel Corporate Affairs. He held a variety of external and internal, strategic and tactical and national and international roles with Opel and General Motors in the 22 years that he worked with the company.

Weinmann is a German national and has a Mathematics/Economics degree from the University of Karlsruhe.

Nathalie Greve, Senior Manager, Infiniti Global Communications based in Hong Kong will report directly to him.
