SHEFFIELD, England and EAST HARTFORD, CT--March 11, 2013: Firth Rixson have signed an agreement with Rolls-Royce that extends from 2015 to 2022, worth an approximate $500 million, for the supply of seamless rolled rings.

The deal was finalised at Rolls-Royce Derby with attendance from Andy Greasley, Executive VP GTSC Purchasing, Rolls-Royce and David Mortimer, CEO, Firth Rixson.

The new agreement sees Firth Rixson's aero-engine parts supplying Rolls-Royce's existing and next generation engine programs including the Trent XWB, 1000-10 and 900 EP.

David Mortimer commented, "The agreement solidifies the strategic relationship that we have with Rolls-Royce and reflects the continual support and strength that Firth Rixson show for Rolls-Royce, in light of the growing demand for aircraft engine production."
