SYDNEY – Marc 4,2013: Performance luxury car maker Infiniti has opened the doors to its newest retail centre in Australia, this time in Melbourne.

The stunning Infiniti Centre Brighton is officially open for business and brings to Melbourne’s Nepean Highway automotive strip a sharp and elegant style unique to the Japanese luxury car brand.

The stunning boutique showroom and service centre has been designed to Infiniti’s IREDI (Infiniti Retail Environment Design Initiative) standards in conjunction with leading Melbourne-based architectural firm Graphos Architects. The layout of the stunning six-car showroom, unique to Infiniti retail centres globally, comprises three distinct areas; a lounge, a lobby and a gallery, the latter showcasing a selection of the Infiniti’s luxurious and sporting model range.

Infiniti Centre Brighton is the third official Infiniti retail centre to open in Australia, joining similar facilities in Sydney and Brisbane. This latest Infiniti retail centre delivers the brand’s trademark high-level customer experience which is based on the Japanese notion of omotenashi, or anticipatory hospitality.

Kevin Snell, General Manager of Infiniti Cars Australia, says Infiniti’s decision to use a more considered approach to the retailing of its performance luxury cars has been welcomed by its customers.

“Infiniti Centre Brighton has been designed to meet the three fundamental needs of Australian luxury car buyers. We know they want a confident and exciting brand that engages them, one that matches their values; a dynamic luxury car that excites them; and an ownership experience that is based on respect and recognition, one that should last throughout a customer’s entire period of ownership.

“If the response from our customers in Sydney and Brisbane is any indication, I am confident our refreshing approach to luxury automotive retailing will be embraced by our Melbourne customers,” Snell said.

Infiniti Centre Brighton is celebrating its start with a consumer promotion highlighting the brand's Formula 1Ž partnership with the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team. Prospective customers need only test-drive any vehicle from the Infiniti range for a chance to win one of ten VIP double passes for premium weekend ground access to the 2013 Australian Formula 1Ž Grand Prix. This competition is open until 12 March 2013.

Infiniti, the performance luxury car brand from Japan, officially entered the Australian luxury car market in September last year. The company launched four models in 2012:

  • the bold Infiniti FX performance crossover;
  • the stunning Infiniti M sedan;
  • the dynamic Infiniti G37 Coupe, and;
  • the stylish Infiniti G37 Convertible.

    The dynamic, technology-rich Infiniti Q50 sedan is scheduled to join the Australian range from 2013.

    Infiniti Centre Brighton is owned and operated by long-standing automotive retail group Preston Motors. The company celebrated its centenary last year and is proud to be establishing Infiniti’s first retail business in Melbourne’s heart of automotive retailing.
