Citroen Shortlist Creative Awards Entries

LONDON – Feb 21, 2013: Connectivity was the selected theme for Citroen’s third annual Creative Awards, which was open for entries from 17 December 2012 to 10 February 2013. With nearly 1,000 entries submitted online from 95 different countries, the shortlisted projects are now open for online public voting.

For this year’s awards, budding designers were asked to dream up an innovative smartphone app to make driving easier for future motorists.

The entries ranged from vehicle-to-vehicle communication to virtual co-driver apps. The 59 best projects have already been shortlisted, with the public prize to be awarded on 4 March.

Entries will also be judged by a panel of top magazine editors, designers and digital and online experts, including English judge Luke Peters (Chief Editor of T3 magazine). The jury prizes will be awarded on 28 March.

The winner selected by the jury will receive a cash prize of €10,000. Second place will win €2,000 and third place will receive €1,500. The winner of the public vote will also win a €1,500 prize.
