Draycotts Handover Kia Cee'd To Local Winner

LONDON – Feb 18, 2013: Kia Motors (UK) Limited and Sutton in Ashfield dealers, Draycotts, are delighted to announce Garreth Hardstaff has won a brand new Kia cee’d in a national competition.

Kia took the all-new five-door hatchback and and the cee’d Sportswagon to shopping centres in Bluewater, Manchester, Newcastle, Southampton, Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Glasgow, giving passing shoppers the opportunity to experience the models first hand.

To be in with a chance to win the new cee’d, shoppers were asked to vote for their favourite cee’d and cee’d Sportswagon feature, including the ISG (Intelligent Stop & Go), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and the state-of-the-art audio system. The winner was drawn at random. Garreth, who picked up his new car from the dealership, was the lucky winner out of almost 8,000 entrants.

Garreth, 19, couldn’t believe his luck when he first learned of his windfall: “After seeing the car out shopping, I entered the competition as everything about the cee’d appealed to me – what did I have to lose? When I got the phone call, I was speechless. I still can’t believe I am the lucky one and I am so thankful to Kia for giving me such a fantastic car. It has really set me up for the future.”
