NBC5 Chicago Presents: The 2013 Chicago Auto Show

CHICAGO - February 6, 2013: NBC 5 and the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) present The 2013 Chicago Auto Show, LIVE from McCormick Place on Saturday, February 9th, 6-7PM.

This marks NBC 5's 15th consecutive year airing the Chicago Auto Show, the largest and longest running auto show in the country.

NBC 5's Brant Miller, Cheryl Scott, Alicia Roman, LeeAnn Trotter, Kye Martin, Charlie Wojciechowski and Art Norman will take viewers to nearly every corner of the show. Look for the NBC 5 team to cover the hottest cars and displays, taking test drives inside and outside McCormick Place and even look at a car that is "Driverless". Look for some stars from the NBC's primetime hit series "Chicago Fire" to stop by. And as always, viewers can vote for their vehicle in the Best of Show voting.

NBC 5 will be covering the show on multiple platforms. In addition to the television broadcast on NBC 5, Internet viewers can watch streaming coverage from NBCChicago.com. For the first time in 2013, NBC also brings its viewers an opportunity to interact with the broadcast using the zeebox second screen app for their smart phone or tablet device. Zeebox lets you vote on your favorites from the show, engage with the reporters using embedded social media and win prizes like free tickets to the Auto Show itself. The Chicago Auto Show was first staged in 1901 and has been produced by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), the oldest and largest metropolitan dealer organization in the nation, since 1935.

The runs from Feb 9 -Feb 18, 2013 at McCormick Place, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive. The First Look for Charity, the black-tie charity event is Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.
