LONDON – Feb 7, 2013: To offer British family motorists even greater style and value this winter and through into the spring, Mazda is offering two enhanced versions of its popular Mazda5 Venture models, priced from £19,995 (petrol) and from £21,290 (diesel) on-the-road.

On sale now, the Mazda5 Venture models feature enhanced specification for 2013. On the exterior, specification now includes the addition of 17-inch Bright finish alloy wheels, sporty black mirror covers, a choice of eight exterior colours (four of them new), chrome exhaust tailpipe trim and power-folding door mirrors with integrated indicator lights. The interior benefits from new Black cloth trim with red stitching for a sporty feel and an auto-dimming interior mirror.

For added safety and convenience, the Mazda5 Venture now includes rear parking sensors and reversing camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an auto-dimming interior mirror and smart turn signal.

The duo’s generous levels of standard specification already includes: front fog lights, sports front grille, side skirts, rear spoiler and privacy glass. Inside, there is a piano-black centre console and Sanyo TomTom navigation with 5.8-inch touch-screen display. As well as integrated Bluetooth® and iPod connectivity, plus climate control air-conditioning, cruise control and a six-speaker audio system.

“The enhanced 2013 Mazda5 Venture models feature a unique combination of advanced technology, sports styling, a premium interior and great added value – their prices are unchanged despite the added specification – that’s sure to attract new customers to our showrooms,” comments Peter Allibon, Sales Director, Mazda UK.

“One of the best handling family cars available in the UK, the Mazda5 Venture features attractive styling and delivers a dynamic and engaging drive, with strongly performing petrol and diesel engines, plus finely tuned suspension and steering, and a top quality spacious and practical interior. Its competitive fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, together with Mazda’s outstanding Japanese-style build quality and legendary reliability, the Venture models make great ownership prospects for active families,” adds Allibon.

An ideal family car, the enhanced Mazda5 Venture has an unusually long wheelbase (2,750mm) and sliding rear doors, with three rows of seating for up to seven occupants. It is an immensely capable load carrier, with Mazda’s unique Karakuri cabin versatility. The third row seats split 50/50 and fold flat to the floor, so that cargo volume is 857-litres when loaded to the belt line and 1,485-litres loaded to the roof.

Customers buying a Mazda5 Venture model have a choice of responsive and powerful engines – a 2.0-litre (150ps) MZR petrol engine for £19,995 or a 1.6-litre (115ps) turbo-diesel costing £21,290 – both driving the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Depending on the model, fuel economy can be as high as 54.3mpg (combined cycle) and CO2 emissions as low as 138g/km.

The four new-for-2013 exterior colours are Arctic White (solid) and three Mica hues – Jet Black, Meteor Grey and Zeal Red. Carry-over colours are Aluminium Silver, Clear Water Blue, Crystal White and Stormy Blue. Also, a special ‘Venture’ badge is fitted on the tailgate.

Until the end of March 2013, Mazda is offering a great combination of offers on Mazda5 Venture vehicles, featuring zero deposit, a choice of 0% APR or 5.9% APR finance and low-cost monthly payments from just £299. In addition, customers buying their new car with a Mazda PCP will be offered a generous deposit contribution of £2,500.
