LAS VEGAS--February 4, 2013: SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles, Acton Fleet Sales and Livernois Vehicle Development today announced the development of the all-new Chrysler 300-L 6-Inch extended sedan built on Chrysler's 300 Chassis.

“The 300 L 6-inch extended under development by Livernois offers the best of both worlds in terms of enhanced passenger comfort and a high-quality build that will retain the OEM door opening and associated hardware.”

"Industry customers told us that they wanted a product offering class-leading rear passenger space without the complexity of modified doors and body openings," says Bill Cunningham, General Manager of Acton Fleet Sales. "The 300 L 6-inch extended under development by Livernois offers the best of both worlds in terms of enhanced passenger comfort and a high-quality build that will retain the OEM door opening and associated hardware." The 300-L 6-inch extended model quality engineered by Livernois will offer a product for livery customers that is free from the complexity and potential reliability issues of a more extensive conversion that impacts the OEM rear opening, yet is able to offer a full 46.1 inches of rear legroom, all at a very compelling price point.

Efficient, Iconic Design
The most dramatic and distinctive purpose-built Chrysler 300 to date will deliver the class leading performance, features that the industry expects in the most cost-efficient package available to the industry today. "By accomplishing the extension at the B-Pillar and retaining the original OEM door and hardware, we will be able to keep the character and proportion of the car that Chrysler designers created as well as provide what we believe will be the highest-quality, most durable and most reliable short conversion offered to the industry today. We're very excited to have the opportunity to display the prototype early at LCT," said Norma Wallis, owner of Livernois Vehicle Development.

High Featured and Cost Effective
The SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles, Acton Fleet Sales and Livernois 300-L X-inch extended sedan includes quality build features such as a one-piece painted roof and one-piece extension panel. Because the vehicle retains the integrity and quality of the original OEM door and associated hardware, the need for investment in complex modifications to critical OEM structure and componentry is unnecessary, allowing industry operators the opportunity to generate more attractive returns on their product investment.

Innovative Industry Partnership
SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles and Action Fleet Sales will also announce today a cooperative agreement between the two companies and Livernois Vehicle Development. This relationship will allow convenient, one-stop sourcing of the SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles, Acton Fleet Sales and Livernois 300-L X-inch extended sedan exclusively through Acton Fleet Sales, located in Acton, Massachusetts and its sales partner, Penske Cadillac of Southbay, located in Torrance, California.

"Since the relationship between SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles and Acton Fleet Sales was announced at NELA and the GCLA Expo last fall, we have been hard at work trying to not only refine our process to create a convenient, one-stop source for the professional vehicle industry, but also to identify product offerings that meet the needs of the industry," said Phil Hartz, SoCal Co-CEO and Coleman Hoyt, President of Acton Fleet Sales. "Through the partnership with one of the industry's most innovative specialty vehicle builders, we found in Livernois a team that shared our vision to provide high quality and reliable solutions to the needs identified by the industry that offers an exceptional level of passenger comfort at what will be a very compelling price point." Added Greg Maddock, West Coast Director for SoCal Penske, "We're very excited about the vehicle that Livernois is developing for the industry and our ability demonstrate our commitment to deliver a fantastic product at a competitive price."

The SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles, Acton Fleet Sales and Livernois Chrysler 300-L X-inch extended sedanĀ is expected to be available for order through Penske Cadillac of Southbay and Acton Fleet Sales in the summer of 2013.
