Nissan Begins 2013 with Record January

VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – Feb 1, 2013: Nissan has begun 2013 on a high with a record sales result for the month of January.

A total of 7,202 units sold was a 34 per cent increase on January 2012 and represents the ninth consecutive month that Nissan has achieved a record monthly sales result as a full-line importer.

January 2013 was a January record for Navara, X-TRAIL and DUALIS, with Micra and Maxima both recording sales substantially higher than the same month last year.

Based on Nissan’s April to March financial year, Nissan sales are up 22 per cent compared to the same point in January 2011. “ These are exciting times for Nissan – our ninth-consecutive record month comes as we launch two exciting all-new products, Pulsar and Patrol, in the Australian market,” said Nissan Australia Managing Director and CEO William F. Peffer Jr.
