TravelCenters of America Opens New TA in Holbrook, Arizona

WESTLAKE, Ohio--January 24, 2013: TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, has announced the acquisition and rebranding of a travel center in Holbrook, Arizona, to the TA brand. TA Holbrook is located at I-40, Exit 283 (3747 Express Dr.) in Navajo County. The opening of this location raises the number of full-service travel centers in the TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded chain to 244.

Amenities at the new TA include:

  • 88 truck parking spaces on a spacious, well-lit parking lot;
  • 8 diesel lanes;
  • Fully stocked travel store;
  • 12 showers;
  • Emergency roadside service, available 24/7/365, through RoadSquad Connect; and
  • UltraONE Rewards Program kiosk and swiping system

This location also offers a variety of other full-service professional driver amenities, including a deli; game room; drivers' lounge; Wi-Fi; ATM, check cashing; and UPS drop box. Gasoline is also offered at 16 fueling positions. A full-service Country Pride restaurant will open soon, as will a TA Truck Service repair facility.

Last fall, Overdrive magazine conducted its annual "Voted Best" survey. The results showed that drivers prefer TA and Petro Stopping Centers over the next closest truck stop brand 4:1 for the best overall truckstop category. TA and Petro Stopping Centers dominated the survey in 33 other categories, including largest parking lots 5:1; best overall food 6:1; most comprehensive driver services 3:1; and cleanest showers 3:1.
