Wests Motor Group Take On Their First Citroen Franchise

LONDON – Jan 17, 2013: Citroen UK have recruited a new partner, Wests Motor Group, to operate the Sales, Service and Parts contracts in Bedford. The Wests Motor Group, a family business with over 90 years’ experience, operates in Kings Lynn, Cambridge and Bedford.

The Bedford site has recently undergone a significant redevelopment to accommodate the Citroën brand. This will be the first time that Citroën has had sales representation in Bedford for more than 10 years.

Sam Horncastle, Wests Motor Group Director, commented: “I was initially attracted to the Citroën brand by the DS range, in particular DS3. We can see the positive effect this is having on the financial performance of the Citroën network. We love the fresh look the new Citroën Corporate Identity will give to the site and we hope our customers will enjoy the new experience.”

Citroën’s Head of Network Development, Jonathan Sloan, commented: “We have had an exciting and busy 2012, opening no fewer than nine new sites and managing a number of takeovers by acquisitive partners currently within the network. Citroën’s remaining open points include locations in Scotland, the North West and London.
