New Managing Director appointed for Audi Australia Pty Ltd

BOTANY, AUSTRALIA – Jan 17, 2013: AUDI AG has appointed Mr Andrew Doyle as the new Managing Director of Audi Australia Pty Ltd .

Mr Doyle, an Australian citizen, is currently the Director of Audi in Ireland, a position he has held since January 2011.

Prior to his role as head of Audi in Ireland, Mr Doyle was General Manager Sales at Audi Australia Pty Ltd from July 2005 until December 2010.

Mr André Konsbruck, Chairman of the Board of Audi Australia Pty Ltd, said that the company is pleased to have secured Mr Doyle following his successful two year tenure in Ireland.

“Mr Doyle’s experience in the Australian market as Audi’s head of sales, along with his international experience as an employee of AUDI AG make him the ideal candidate to head the Australian business in its next phase of growth in the market,” Mr Konsbruck said.

Mr Doyle will begin his tenure at Audi Australia Pty Ltd from 1 March 2013.
