Twenty-Five Year Renewable Energy Veteran to Lead Development in Commercial-Scale Solar and Clean Transport Infrastructure

TROY, MI--Jan. 15, 2013:  ViSole Energy announced today that Len Jornlin, Founder & CEO of Empower Energies LLC and a former senior executive at SunEdison LLC, is joining the company as Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Mr. Jornlin replaces Abe Morris, who will become Vice Chairman of the ViSole Energy Board of Directors.

"We are extremely excited to have Len join ViSole Energy and lead it in its next stage of growth. Len's accomplishments during his 25 year career in the renewable industry are extraordinary. Len is highly regarded in the industry, and his ability to develop markets and solar projects globally is well recognized," said David Kay, Chairman of ViSole Energy and a senior member of one of the company's principal investors, Tenor Capital Management.

During his career, Mr. Jornlin has been integral in developing renewable energy markets and projects in the more advanced European markets, the growing market in the United States, and emerging clean energy markets in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. He will leverage this extensive experience to further build ViSole Energy's domestic and international presence in the solar and renewable industry.

Mr. Jornlin brings significant management experience from across the entire clean-energy value chain. In partnership with in-country developers, he has concluded solar, wind, biomass, and waste technology investments and acquisitions totaling almost $400 million.

Early in his career, Mr. Jornlin worked for BP Solar International, AstroPower, Inc., Bell Atlantic Regulatory Affairs (now Verizon), and the Governor of Delaware. He earned a Master's degree from the University of Chicago in International Business and a Bachelor's Degree from Colgate University.

"ViSole Energy is well positioned with strong support from our investors and strategic partners, including General Motors, to be an industry leader in commercial-scale solar development, and is also at the forefront of bringing critical solar infrastructure to the electric vehicle marketplace," Mr. Kay concluded. "We are extremely grateful for the contribution that Abe Morris has made as CEO of ViSole Energy, and are excited to sustain his leadership moving forward. As Vice Chairman, he'll maintain a very active role in the company's strategic, operational, and financial efforts."

Hobbs & Towne, Inc., the leader in energy and clean technology executive search, recruited Mr. Jornlin from Empower Energies. According to Hobbs & Towne Senior Partner Wes Goldstein, "We targeted an individual who could focus on expanding ViSole Energy's business globally, identify external partners including potential capital streams, and be the development and implementation leader to complete our client's mission.  Len not only meets, he exceeds, these qualifications."

"The truly exciting thing about joining ViSole Energy in a leadership role is the vision and commitment of its Board," Mr. Jornlin noted. "We are already a preferred commercial-scale solar provider for General Motors. And, I look forward to further focusing our exceptional automotive industry expertise on the delivery of additional complementary products to serve the rapidly-developing Clean Transport Infrastructure market."
