SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Jan. 11, 2013: As part of a new partnership between Auto Club Speedway and Toyota, officials announced today that the Toyota Camry will lead the field to the start of the Auto Club 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and the Royal Purple 300 NNS race at Southern California's premier motorsports facility, March 23 - 24, 2013.

The announcement is part of a marketing agreement between the two which makes the 2013 vehicle "The Official Pace Car of Auto Club Speedway".

"Toyota is excited to extend its long -standing relationship with Auto Club Speedway when the Camry serves as the official pace car during the NASCAR race weekend," said Les Unger, national motorsports marketing manager for Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. "Being based in southern California, Toyota has previously enjoyed a partnership with the track from a promotion and sponsorship perspective at various times throughout the years. This opportunity is a perfect fit for Toyota to showcase the 2013 Camry given the company's historical popularity in the southern California market."
