SPRINGFIELD, MO--January 7, 2013; John Williams, successful inventor, entrepreneur and CEO of Roundspring Technologies, Inc. has completed work on a new roadway safety device that his company believes will save the lives of hundreds of state, county, city and private road construction and maintenance workers. ROSA (Remote Operated Safety Attendant) allows roadway workers to control traffic from the safe zone, out of imminent danger and hazardous weather conditions.

“Of all the inventions we've created and patented, I am most proud of ROSA as she will save human lives”

"Of all the inventions we've created and patented, I am most proud of ROSA as she will save human lives," said Williams. "ROSA doesn't cost anyone their job, but the tool absolutely will keep people out of harm's way. Sending highway workers home to their families at the end of the day is this product's biggest benefit."

ROSA is available now and the company has already entered into discussions with procurement officials in a number of western states. Williams said he expects motorists to begin seeing ROSA at work on our nation's roadways in the first quarter of 2013.
