VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – Dec 11, 2012: The New-Look Mazda CX-9 has arrived and is in Mazda showrooms now.

Following its global reveal at the Australian International Motor Show in October, the New-Look Mazda CX-9 adopts Mazda’s stylish ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ design language and is the second new-release Mazda to feature its range of ‘i-ACTIVSENSE’ technologies.

Within the front grille, the new signature wing is adopted, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) with a halo ring light guide around the head lamp are added to selected models, and rear combination lamps incorporating the new design signature emphasises the CX-9’s presence to those behind.

‘i-ACTIVSENSE’ technologies, available on the high-grade CX-9 AWD Grand Touring, include Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and High Beam Control (HBC), all of which anticipate danger and help the driver avoid it.

Within the interior, Mazda has taken the CX-9 to a new level with an upgraded infotainment system featuring the latest audio, navigation and speech-recognition systems based on an intuitive HMI (Human Machine Interface) and Bluetooth comes as standard across the entire range.

Maintaining the powerful Mazda CX-9 MZI 3.7-litre V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission from the current model, the New-Look CX-9 is available in All-Wheel Drive and Forward-Wheel Drive, and comes in three different grades: the Classic, Luxury and the top of the range Grand Touring.

With prices for the FWD Classic starting from $44,525 (MLP) the New-Look Mazda CX-9 is available for test drive now from your local Mazda dealer.
