STEEL SEAL WINS GROUPAUTO G-LOGIX

SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR 2012 AWARD

GROUPAUTO, a major national automotive aftermarket supplier has awarded Steel Seal the accolade of GROUPAUTO G-LOGIX Supplier of the Year 2012

In selecting Steel Seal, GROUPAUTO applied stringent criteria under which it looked at sales performance, supporting marketing programme, its website and service levels.

GROUPAUTO, which has almost 300 motor factor members and 600 outlets nationwide, has been stocking award winning Steel Seal - a revolutionary product that helps drivers avoid a hefty garage bill for blown head gaskets - since July 2011 when GROUPAUTO opened its warehouse in West Yorkshire

At the time GROUPAUTO was looking for a product which offered reasonable profit margins for all parties and one which would both enable them to add value to the supply chain but also a supplier who was proactive in the marketing of their brand. Not wishing in any way to deprive independent garages of much needed revenue, Steel Seal, which permanently seals blown head gaskets, warped heads and cracked engine blocks plugged a gap in the market.

Bob Ackroyd, Commercial Director, GROUPAUTO who quite simply describes Steel Seal as a 'fantastic product' commented: "Prior to stocking Steel Seal a few members had initially been asked about the product. Furthermore our own research showed that Steel Seal were very proactive through their website and had an established presence in the market. They listened to our proposal and saw value in selling through our warehouse.

"It is a product which as a single line item holds its own and is one which is growing in popularity. We look forward to working with Steel Seal and congratulate them on their success."

As its name suggests Steel Seal creates a seal that will repair all cylinder head gasket problems. It can withstand high temperatures and high pressures and creates a permanent seal whilst comparable products on the market rely on fillers to do the repair work, but as pressures in the engine rise and fall the particles lodged in the cracks get loose and the driver is left with the original problem.

Totally versatile Steel Seal is suitable for both petrol and diesel engines; steel and aluminium and can work on any vehicle with a water cooling system ranging from cars to vans, bikes, boats and even tractors and agricultural machinery.

Steel Seal is simple to use and is mixed with antifreeze and water and poured into the radiator of a cold engine. When the engine is started and reaches its operating temperature the mixture is drawn into the damaged areas by the extra heat which then seals the cracks with an innovative thermo-chemical bonding process. Once the bonding process is complete the chemicals become inert, so there is no reaction when other products are added to the cooler system.

It is a product that no driver should be without and what's more Steel Seal offers a money back guarantee!

A bottle of Steel Seal sells for just 39.99 (SRP), which is a small price to pay in exchange of facing a bill which can average 1,500!
