Safelite AutoGlass Wins 2012 Best in Biz Awards in HR & Customer Service
COLUMBUS, OH--Nov. 27, 2012: Safelite AutoGlass , the nation's largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has earned two 2012 Best in Biz Awards: Gold in the HR Department of the Year category and Silver in the Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year category. More than 400 entries were received.
Safelite's HR team received Gold for its "People First" initiative -- a strategy to drive business performance by having an obsessive focus on having great people. Safelite has won a number of awards for People First, including Workforce Management's 2012 Optimas Award. In addition, employee engagement has led to Safelite® being recognized among the 2012 "Top Places to Work in Iowa," Best Places to Work in Phoenix," and "Best Places to Work in South Carolina."
Safelite® also was recognized for the second year in a row with Silver for its customer service. The company has a current Net Promoter Score of 86.9 percent. Safelite® has implemented a number of strategies to enhance the customer experience from the first call to the repair or replacement of the customer's vehicle glass. Safelite® has also won a variety of customer service-related awards, including the International Service Excellence Award.
