J.D. Power and Associates will announce the results of the 2012 Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 28.

The study, now in its 26th year, is a comprehensive analysis of the new-vehicle purchase experience. Overall customer satisfaction (satisfaction among buyers) is measured by examining four key factors: dealership facility; delivery process; working out the deal; the salesperson.

The study also measures satisfaction with brands and dealerships that were shopped but ultimately rejected in favor of the selling brand and dealership (satisfaction among rejecters). Among rejecters, satisfaction is measured by examining the following five factors: experience negotiating; facility; fairness of price; inventory; and the salesperson.
