Hyundai Tops Canstar Awards for 2012

SYDNEY – Nov 15, 2012: Hyundai Motor Company Australia has taken outright top honours in three of the seven Canstar Blue motoring awards for 2012, and joint winner for a fourth award, in the independent survey conducted by the country’s leading market research professionals, Colmar Brunton.

When it comes to customer satisfaction Australians have once again chosen Hyundai over other leading automotive brands in the 2012 survey, achieving a maximum 5-star score in the following categories:

  • Most Satisfied Customer ‘Cars’
  • Most Satisfied Customer ‘Reliability - Cars’
  • Most Satisfied Customer ‘Value for Money - Cars’
  • Most Satisfied Customer ‘After Sales Service- Cars’

    CANSTAR Blue commissioned Colmar Brunton to survey 7,500 Australian consumers to measure their satisfaction across a range of products and services. From this survey group the results were collated based on consumers who made a new car purchase, from a dealership, within the last three years.

    As in 2011, Hyundai was voted by the respondents as offering best ‘Value For Money’ in the automotive category ahead of a raft of Japanese competitor brands. The survey results also found Hyundai to rate highest in the ‘Reliability’ category, and equal best in ‘After-Sales Service’ category, a true testament to Hyundai’s ongoing commitment to quality and assurance.

    Overall in the automotive segment Hyundai picked up top honours for the ‘Cars’ category, ahead of local favourites, further cementing its position as leader when it comes to customer approval.

    “This is a strong indication the Hyundai brand is now a leading brand in terms of customer service and satisfaction,” said Hyundai Motor Company Australia Marketing Director, Oliver Mann. “We are delighted our cars, and importantly the Hyundai dealer network, have again been recognised by consumers in this independent survey.”
