Mercedes-Benz Bromley Delivers Experience Of A Lifetime
MERCEDES-BENZ BROMLEY DELIVERS EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME
England--November 13, 2012
Mercedes-Benz Bromley customer Ryan Welch has received a once-in-a-lifetime prize as winner of the Mercedes-Benz 'Play with a Champion' golf competition.
Welch, from Bromley, won the chance to play a round of fourball golf with Darren Clarke, 2011 Open Champion and one of four vice captains for 2012 Ryder Cup winners Team Europe, along with two accompanying guests: his uncle who introduced him to golf, and his father-in-law, a big Darren Clarke fan.
The 'Play with a Champion' prize saw the Mercedes-Benz E250 CDI BE Cabriolet owner enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Northern Ireland on 8-9 November 2012, which included teeing-off with Clarke at the exclusive Royal Portrush Golf Club.
Welch, an Investment Sales Manager for AXA, beat over 700 other entrants to the prize, which was exclusive to all UK-based Mercedes-Benz owners that chose to keep up to date with the latest company news via email.
"I was in complete shock when I found out I'd won. When I opened the email I thought it was the guys in the office winding me up," said Welch. "I'd like to say a massive thank you to Mercedes-Benz for a fabulous couple of days and to Darren Clarke for taking us around Portrush and adding such a personal touch to the trip."
Stephen Trowell, General Manager at Mercedes-Benz Bromley, commented: "I'm extremely pleased that one of our customers won the experience. Ryan became a Mercedes-Benz customer 18 months ago and we were delighted that our showroom could offer him his first Mercedes-Benz. Well done Ryan!"
