Fiat Chrysler Group Appoints Corporate Affairs Specialist

TURIN, ITALY – Nov 8, 2012: The Fiat Chrysler group is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Hickman to the position of corporate affairs specialist, effective immediately.

Phil has been associated with the Chrysler Jeep Dodge brands for more than nine years in dealership service and management roles, most recently as a product expert in the after sales department at the company’s new headquarters in Port Melbourne. Phil originally qualified as an automotive technician, and brings a wealth of complex diagnostic and engineering knowledge to the role.

His new main reason for living will be providing information and service to the Australian automotive media. He will be responsible for the deployment of the media fleet across Australia and will manage the organisation of press and vehicle launches.

Fiat Chrysler director of corporate affairs, Lenore Fletcher, said the appointment of Phil was a boon to the management of the group’s automotive media relations.

“With nine brands to service, plus our current explosive growth of more than 60 per cent year to date, as well as a huge number of new products on the way, it’s an exciting time to be at the Fiat Chrysler group.

“Phil’s appointment means we will be able to provide a better service all round to our clients,” Fletcher said.
