BEND, OR--November 2, 2012: --It doesn't take a snow storm for drivers to begin thinking about what they need for the 2012-2013 winter driving season. To help drivers prepare for this winter, Les Schwab Tire Centers provides free information resources on tires, chains and safe driving techniques.

“Using videos, brochures and the Internet, we have materials to help people access winter driving information in a way that is easiest for them”

"Using videos, brochures and the Internet, we have materials to help people access winter driving information in a way that is easiest for them," said John Britton, President, Les Schwab Tire Centers. "This information complements the one-on-one advice we provide customers when they are in our stores."

Two videos are on the company website at: Road Cam Videos. The first video, on Winter Driving, provides information on how to select the right tires for traction under the diverse weather conditions experienced throughout the West. The second video demonstrates how to properly install tire chains. This information is especially important for drivers who travel mountain passes. Both videos are short, easy to understand and can be used by drivers who are looking for ways to improve safe driving in snow, ice and rainy winter weather.
