Automotive manufacturing in India is going through some exciting times with new product launches and challenging times with the rise in fuel prices while facing a global economic slowdown. In this scenario, the top priority for leading OEMs is cost-effective manufacturing, implementing best quality control techniques that will drive down manufacturing costs, yet at the same time ensure high quality and on-time delivery of vehicles.

Throwing light on these issues, UBM India has organised Automotive Manufacturing India 2012 - a three day strategic forum taking place from 20-22 November in Chennai, India, which will bring together Vice Presidents, Directors, General Managers and Heads of Manufacturing, Production, Plant, Engineering, Quality, Operations across all the leading OEMs and spare parts suppliers.

This event will talk about the latest cost-effective manufacturing and production techniques and solutions to challenges surrounding production capacity management, inventory management, quality control and energy management.
