IR's AUIRGDC0250 1200V IGBT for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Wins Electronic Products China's Top-10 Power Products Award

EL SEGUNDO, CA--September 27, 2012: International Rectifier, IR® , a world leader in power management technology, today announced the company's AUIRGDC0250 automotive-qualified 1200V IGBT has been recognized by Electronic Products China with a Top-10 Power Products Award.

The AUIRGDC0250 is optimized for soft switching applications such as Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater applications used in electric and hybrid vehicles. Available in a compact Super TO-220 package, the device features low VCE(on) to reduce power dissipation and achieve higher power density. The AUIRGDC0250 also features positive VCE(on) temperature coefficient and optimized square reverse bias safe operating area (RBSOA).
