SHANGHAI--September 6, 2012:In 2012, enormous attention is being drawn to the development of new energy vehicles. With the increasing global demand and China's new incentive policies, investment has rushed into the Li-battery separator industry in China.

According to China's 12th Five-year Planning for dynamic sectors, the capacity and sales volume of hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles will both reach 500,000 by 2015.

However, due to the high investment risks and technical barriers, China's Li-battery separator industry is stagnated at the lower end of the market, and it will need to improve productivity and product quality.

This year, CBI BIZ together with Asia Battery Association will present the 2nd International Li-battery Separator Summit on November 1st-2nd.

The summit will focus on the status quo of international and domestic Li-battery separator markets, discuss how to achieve domestic production of Li-battery separators in China, analyze the trends and investment perspectives for Chinese & overseas Li-battery separator industry and new separator materials, as well as explore the future of Chinese & overseas new energy industry. In addition, over 100 pieces of supply and demand information will be released and during the Technique Session, questions and puzzles raised by attenders will be answered.

The summit is expected to gather more than 150 company executives, chief engineers, marketing directors, academic experts and financial brokers from PP, PE, Li-battery separator suppliers and traders, Li-battery manufacturers, and third-party organizations all across the world. As VIP attenders last year, industry leaders including Celgard, Cangzhou Mingzhu, Shenzhen Senior Technology Material, Nantong Tianfeng New Electronic Materials, Shenzhen Guanlida Electronics, Chongqing Newmi Advanced Materials Technological, Jiujiujiu Technology, Mitsui, Mitsubishi and Celanese and Sojitz will stand a good chance of participating this year.
