Sponsored by the MobilityWorks Foundation, the car will be auctioned at the 3rd annual Barrett-Jackson Orange County Collector Car auction on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the Orange County Fair and Event Center at approximately 2:30 p.m. (PT) during the SPEED Network's live broadcast of the auction from 12pm -- 4pm.

“The donation of their time, expertise and services will generate critical funds to help disabled veterans with their mobility challenges and other needs.”

The custom TAM Bandit Freedom Edition 580hp sits on a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro chassis. In designing the car, the Trans American Muscle team paid tribute to our nation's military and the DAV by including TAM's signature eagle intertwined with the DAV logo on this modern day muscle car. The car's exterior is airbrushed with customized artwork, including he DAV logo. The interior has custom embroidery, as well.

This same team was featured with custom motorcycle builder, Paul Jr. Designs, building a one-of-a-kind Camaro on the Discovery Channel's "American Chopper."

"The MobilityWorks Foundation and the DAV are grateful to Barrett-Jackson and TAM for making this auction possible," said Mike Ryan, MobilityWorks Foundation's development director.
