Hyundai Launches Campaign to Make August National Fuel Efficiency Month

NEW YORK - June 4, 2012: As Americans hit the road this summer, Hyundai Motor America aims to bring more attention to the environmental and economic benefits of driving more fuel efficiently, with the launch of its initiative to make August "National Fuel Efficiency Month."

The multi-faceted campaign kicks-off on World Environmental Day, June 5, by hosting four simultaneous events in New York, Austin, Chicago and Las Vegas. At these events consumers can witness firsthand the benefits of driving a more fuel efficient vehicle, while receiving real-world tips on improving fuel economy toward making the planet a better place.

In New York, consumers can witness firsthand the amount of gas they'll save by driving a Hyundai Sonata compared to a competitive vehicle, in a compelling "gas can structure." Artist Ewok One will also be on hand to create a live art piece interpreting the effects of gas savings over time. When: Tuesday, June 5, 2012 Where: 4:00 P.M. Bryant Park, 41 West 40th Street, New York, NY
