Special Motorsports Event - Milwaukee IndyFest Schedule Released

The on-track schedule is now complete for the Milwaukee IndyFest, Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16 at the historic Milwaukee Mile. The IZOD IndyCar Series will headline the action with a 225-lap race Saturday afternoon. They will be joined by the Firestone Indy Lights cars, who will race Friday evening in a 100-lap battle.

Full schedule: Friday, June 16 (all times are CENTRAL TIME)

8:00 am Spectator Gates Open: Friday grandstand seating is FREE. (Infield activities require general admission ticket. 8:00 am Spectator Gates Open: All Saturday ticket holders have access to infield activities (Infield activities include Family Fun Zone and zip-line, Midway rides, IZOD IndyCar Fan Village, Snake Pit, spectator viewing decks and concert stage) 9:00 -- 11:00 IndyCar Experience (two-seater) and VIP Pace Car rides 9:15 -- 10:15 IZOD IndyCar Series Drivers Autograph Session, Group Two 11:00 Pre-race ceremonies begin (including University of Wisconsin Marching Band) 12:00 National telecast begins, ABC-TV 12:00 Driver Introductions begin 12:20 National Anthem 12:25 Command: "Drivers, start your engines." 12:30 Green Flag! IZOD IndyCar Series Milwaukee IndyFest 225 (225 laps/225 miles) 3:00 Victory Circle: Winner's Celebration 3:30 Smash Mouth in concert, Main stage, inside turn one (Concert is free to all Saturday ticket holders) 6:00 Spectator Gates Closed.

"Tag Along" with Alex Tagliani's Official Bus Tour from Indianapolis to the Milwaukee IndyFest

IZOD IndyCar driver Alex Tagliani, driver of the No. 98 Barracuda Networks Honda for Bryan Herta Autosport, is now offering a race day bus tour from Indianapolis to the Milwaukee IndyFest. The package is $97.50 per person, and includes transportation to and from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Milwaukee Mile on Saturday, June 16. The bus will depart from IMS at 6:00 a.m., and all recipients will receive a 200-level reserved ticket, paddock pass and an Alex Tagliani souvenir hat. (Complimentary beverages will be served on the return trip -- ID required). The bus will return to Indy following the free Smash Mouth concert following the IndyFest 225 race.

Fans can purchase the "Tag Along" IndyFest package at Detour, an American grille in Carmel, Ind. (http://detourgrille.com) or Ed Martin Acura (http://edmartinacura.com) in Indianapolis.
