EVO Electric Technology to be showcased at EVS26 by GKN Driveline and Lotus Engineering

EVO Electric Ltd., a leading developer of electric drive solutions for the automotive sector, today announced its participation in the 26th International Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS26), to be held 6-9 May 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Centre. The EVS series, organized by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), is recognized as the global electric transportation industry's premier and largest forum, showcasing all forms of technologies in the market place and on the drawing boards. The event attracts academic, government and industry leaders from around the world who are interested in exploring and understanding the technical, policy and market challenges to a paradigm shift toward the use of electric transportation technologies.

EVO Electric will participate in the event through its joint venture partner GKN Driveline. The global Tier One supplier of driveline solutions will showcase its Integrated eDrive System, comprised of an EVO electric motor and a GKN Driveline 2-speed eTransmission, as part of the broader GKN Driveline exhibition area (Booth #1037). GKN Driveline is the world's leading engineering company for automotive driveline solutions. As a pioneer and systems leader in advanced hybrid and fully-electric powertrains, GKN Driveline delivers engineering solutions to vehicle manufacturers worldwide.

EVO technology will also be featured at the Lotus Engineering booth (Booth # 1223). Lotus will exhibit the high-performance Evora 414E Hybrid, which features twin 152 kW (207 PS/204 hp) electric motors supplied by EVO Electric. The car also features Lotus' 3-cylinder Range Extender Engine incorporating an EVO Electric generator.
