Media Advisory: Chevy Goes to the Dogs on National Pet Day

Pooches invited to New York Auto Show to sniff out the perfect ride and learn about safety

WHAT:     

To observe National Pet Day on April 11, Chevrolet will host a breakfast for pets and pet-parents at the New York Auto Show.  Attendees will get paws-on experience with the brand's pet-friendly vehicles and receive tips on travel safety.




Specific event activities to include: 


-- International pet lifestyle expert Charlotte Reed, and General Motors' head of consumer affairs, James Bell, will team up with a few furry
    friends to  demonstrate how to make cars more pet-friendly.


-- Chevrolet will announce a month-long partnership with the New York City's Animal Medical Center (AMC), a national leader in
    animal care treating nearly 40,000 patients annually, to assist with medical pick-ups for pets.
