Electric and hybrid car and motorcycle enthusiasts to gather March 27 from 6-8pm

SAN DIEGO--March 23, 2012" Stellar Solar, one of California's leading commercial and residential solar integrators, is hosting San Diego's first event to bring together electric vehicles, hybrids, and electric motorcycles. The event will be held at their Clairemont showroom which is adjacent to the SDG&E Innovation Center, enabling EV and hybrid drivers to gather under impressive 14kW solar trees in the parking lot. A highlight of the event will be the BMW Active E sedan, currently only available to a limited number of test drivers including Stellar Solar customer Peder Norby. Justin Bergy from Motoworld will be on hand with the innovative Zero S electric motorcycle.
"This event is a great way to bring together a large group of like-minded people that includes EV, hybrid and solar enthusiasts," said Peder Norby, BMW Active E test driver. He added, "There are thousands of hybrid owners out there that can benefit from interacting with EV owners and this is a perfect forum for that. Hosting the event at the Stellar Solar showroom next door to the amazing SDG&E Innovation Center makes it even more exciting."

Stellar Solar will be offering a short presentation from BMW Active E owner Peder Norby who powers his vehicle and entire home with solar. They will also be scheduling on-the-spot solar site evaluations. Complimentary food and beverages will also be served. This is a free event.
