SYDNEY – March 21, 2012: For the driver who needs a vehicle that keeps up with their work as much as their play, the tough new Actyon Sports has it all in the competition stakes.

“The launch of the new Ssangyong Actyon Sports shows just how far Ssangyong has come. The new Korando SUV in 2011 showcased an entirely fresh style for the brand and the new Actyon Sports takes on this new ‘family’ look. We’ve completely moved away from the simple characteristics and overt styling of the previous model and now offer all the latest technology for a sub-$30k price level,” said Jeff Barber, General Manager, Ssangyong Australia.

Outside, the vehicle boasts a rugged appearance, with wide and straightforward character lines on the hood and a hexagonal mesh radiator grille finished in chrome and high-gloss black. Fog lamps come standard, and new black bezel headlamps feature an elegant chrome trim.

The side of the vehicle features a sleek character line that marries the front to the rear of the ute with black-tone moulding. The tray can carry a diverse range of cargo, with 2m2 of space and more depth than any of Actyon Sports’ competitors. The spring loaded tailgate also makes it much less cumbersome to operate.

“While 86% of Dual Cab Utilities sold in Australia are made in Thailand, the new Ssangyong Actyon Dual Cab Utes are made in Korea; a country which has become synonymous with quality and reliability in global automotive manufacturing,” said Jeff Barber.

The combination of a new stylish exterior and work/life functionality make the new Actyon Sports perfectly suited for work and play, offering excellent value for money and a tough new look that will give the other Dual Cab utilities in the market a run for their money; starting from just $26,990 driveaway. It’s ‘a lot of car for a little price’.
