MIAMI--March 5, 2012: Today John Walsh, a 23-year veteran of the mobility industry, was named Chief Executive Officer of the Vehicle Production Group LLC (VPG), based in Miami, Florida. Walsh most recently served as President and CEO of National Bus Sales & Leasing, where under his leadership company revenues doubled while reducing overall costs. The announcement was made by VPG Chairman Fred Drasner.

"I am thrilled to welcome John Walsh to the Vehicle Production Group, where he will apply more than two decades of experience on increasing fleet and consumer sales," said Mr. Drasner. "There are few people in the mobility automotive sector who understand the transportation needs of the community we serve better than John. We are confident that John will be an outstanding leader for our Company as we continue to grow in 2012 and beyond and will remain a sensitive and forceful advocate for safe and efficient transportation for the mobility challenged."

Mr. Walsh has had more than 20 years' experience in the mobility industry growing national transportation sales organizations similar to VPG. Most recently he served as the President and CEO of National Bus Sales & Leasing, where he grew revenue 100% and vastly improved the operating performance throughout the entire organization, streamlining and centralizing automation to reduce overall costs. He also developed strategic partnerships that contributed significantly to the bottom line. In 2011, Mr. Walsh delivered the single largest order for "low-floor" paratransit CNG buses in the company's history: a $25 million order for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system.

"The disabled community has, for too long, faced too many obstacles in terms of transportation options -- something that's certainly true of public transit, and private transportation as well," said CEO John Walsh. "Right now, there are 18 million Americans who could benefit from having access to a car like the MV-1, and I'm proud to join VPG as we further broaden our efforts to make that happen."

Walsh earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a minor in Economics at Methodist University in North Carolina.
