MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – Feb 22, 2012: Suzuki (GB) PLC is pleased to announce extended support for its Body and Paint Programme from DuPont Performance Coatings. The DuPont Refinish and Spies Hecker paint brands join Standox and Akzo Sikkens as the selected brands for the Suzuki Network, now providing them with a choice of four industry leading brands.

With immediate effect the Suzuki GB selected paint manufacturers and brands are Akzo Nobel (Sikkens brand) and DuPont Performance Coatings - DuPont Refinish, Spies Hecker and Standox brands.

To comply with Suzuki Operating Standards, all Approved Body and Paint Centres are expected to operate and maintain a mixing scheme supplied by one of these brands and use the recommended refinish systems for all warranty repairs and repairs for Suzuki Insurance and Suzuki Accident Aftercare.

Suzuki launched its Body and Paint Programme in 2009 and now has more than 100 Approved Centres across the UK serving its network of 159 dealers and authorised repairers. The programme was initiated to build a network where all vehicles are repaired according to Suzuki recommended repair processes and industry best practice. Additionally the programme helps the dealer network build on their relationships with customers, generate sales leads as well as promoting the importance and use of OEM-approved parts.
