New Car Care Council Video a Must-See for Every Vehicle Owner

February 22, 2012: A new video from the non-profit Car Care Council entitled "Auto Service and Repair: What to Expect," takes the guesswork out of auto service by giving consumers a behind-the-scenes look at the repair shop experience.

"For many consumers, taking their vehicle in for service or repair can cause anxiety and lead them to postpone necessary maintenance and repairs," said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. "Neglecting routine service can cause more expensive repairs later. Our new, candid, no-nonsense video provides tips and advice, and lays out realistic expectations for motorists who need help finding and working with an auto service and repair shop. It is a must-see for everyone who owns or operates a vehicle."

Created to help car owners become more comfortable with the auto service and repair process, the new video provides a wealth of information and straight talk on such topics as finding the right auto repair facility, what to expect at the shop and what questions to ask. The video also covers the real truth about consumer rights and the manufacturer's warranty.
